Job description Sumer Hills for Investments & Real Estate Development is looking to hire. Job title: Structural Engineer-Design Reporting to: Design Director Project: American University of Baghdad -Iraq Location: Baghdad-Airport Street (AUIB Project) Requirements: • Bachelor of Civil Engineering from a recognized university. • Minimum 5 years of experience as a structural Engineer. • Significant experience working to International and Iraqi Standards including those for Concrete and Steel structures. • Demonstrated experience in preparing technical design documentation. • Ability to use software such as ETABS, SAFE, Revit, AutoCAD, Ram Connection, Robot Structural Analysis and Revit. Exposure to software such as Tekla Structures, STAAD PRO is advantageous. • Extensive knowledge of design techniques and manual calculations. • Able to work independently and effectively within a team. • A high level of initiative and proactivity, particularly in relation to creative problem solving. • A sound understanding of mentoring and coaching techniques.
