As a Networking Technical Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering expert networking solutions and support to our clients. Job Description: As a Networking Technical Consultant at FIS, you will work closely with our clients to assess their networking needs, design tailored solutions, and provide technical expertise throughout the implementation process. You will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' network infrastructures are efficient, secure, and capable of supporting their business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their networking requirements, objectives, and challenges. Network Assessment: Conduct comprehensive network assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Solution Design: Design and architect networking solutions that align with clients' business goals, taking into account scalability, security, and performance. Implementation: Oversee the deployment of network solutions, including configuring hardware and software components, and ensure a smooth transition. Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for clients' network environments. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and best practices. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure network compliance with industry standards and regulations. Client Training: Educate clients and end-users on network operations, maintenance, and best practices. Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance and proactively identify and address bottlenecks or issues. Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging networking technologies to provide clients with innovative solutions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructures. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and client-facing skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with network virtualization and cloud networking.
