In a nutshell: The Jr. Buyer will be handling a specific category (Home & Decor) and be in charge of bringing brands, products, and vendors to increase our product assortment in-app. Responsibilities: 1. Analyze Trends: Dive deep into market trends, consumer behavior, and industry insights to craft assortments that align with consumer preferences. 2. Collaborate: Work closely with teams across different departments to drive category performance through effective collaboration and shared goals. 3. Negotiate and Manage: Engage in negotiations with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and managing the commercial aspects of the category to drive profitability. 4. Expand Category Assortment: Take the initiative to expand our in-app category product assortment by acquiring new vendors, brands, and products that enhance our portfolio. Qualifications: 1. Fresh Graduate: We welcome individuals who have recently graduated and are eager to kick-start their careers in sales and trend analysis. 2. Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities are essential for success in this role. 3. Hustler-Like Mindset: Demonstrate a proactive and opportunistic approach to recognizing and capitalizing on market opportunities. 4. Language Skills: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus and will be considered an advantage.
