Kurdistan NGO seeks a sales and market research officer with a bachelor’s in marketing, able to manage customer relations, conduct market analysis, prepare reports, and develop sales strategies.
Key responsibilities & duties • Meets with customers in a sales environment to drive product sales and knowledge. • Demonstrates advanced products knowledge. • Adheres to any and all company policies and procedures. • Makes sales appointments with clients. • Teams with other employees to make sure that product is available in stock. • Follows up with any clients to make sure that they are satisfied with product. • Meets with retail associates to help them effectively sell products. • Finds new target markets and penetrates them to drive sales and discovers how to market products to new users. • Understands how to make products appeal to consumers based on the environment and current trends. • Uses the Internet to push products to a given target market. • Works with the marketing department to develop new sales strategies. • Discovers target markets and advantages of other companies. • Demonstrates advanced sales knowledge. • Always looks for new ways to make products attractive to customers. • Conducts customers visits, makes reports, sends reports to sales managers on weekly bases. • Responsible for invoicing, delivery notes for equipment sales in his branch. • Identifying and targeting potential customers and building and maintaining relationships with customers. Presenting products or services to customers. • Negotiating and closing deals. • Meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Keeping accurate records of sales and customer interactions. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments. • Conducting market research to identify customer needs and preferences. • Developing and implementing marketing strategies and plans. • Creating and executing marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media, email, events). • Measuring and analyzing the success of marketing efforts. • Collaborating with other teams, such as product development and design, to ensure consistency in messaging and branding. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments. Work experience & skills • BSc in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. • English, Arabic and Kurdish required • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Minimum of three-year experience working in organizations or companies. • Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience • Ability to work under different circumstances • Ability to work with other team member.
