Looking for a Network Security Engineer with expertise in firewalls, routing, network protocols, and virtualization.
FastPay is seeking a creative System Network Security Engineer and system engineer to work under the Information technology Manager with our team to achieve our business digital goals. Responsibilities • Configure/install/document various layer 2&3 core network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewall, VPN, SIEM, WAF, PAM, Core SW and software). • Managing L1, L2, L3 for all security Component running in Corporate Infrastructure • Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. • Testing security measures and existing security controls and processes to ensure the organization is protected against any type of vulnerability. This might entail conducting and/or reviewing penetration test results with the aim to identify corrective actions. • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations and perform backups. • Understanding all security & network protocols, technologies, and solutions. • Working knowledge of virtualization, VMware, vSphere, vCenter, ESX Management, and Troubleshooting. • Knowledge of network protocols and concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, FTP,SFTP, SSH, SSL, LDAP, SAML, etc. • Monitor performance and ensure system availability, reliability, and confidentiality. • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning. • Provide Level-1/2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues. • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures with the company’s security team. Liaise with vendors and other departments for problem resolution. Best Practice for new appliances installation with joining to the centralized monitoring system. • Managing ESXi including capacity planning, advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting, and performance management. • Monitoring cybersecurity risks before they become real issues. Performing vulnerability assessments and IT audits, where risks are identified, measured, and managed over time • Monitoring all the configuration changes in terms of settings and policies for IPS/IDS, ant spoofing, Application Control, LAN/WAN routing and cluster interfaces, etc. • Understanding layer 1/2/3 access network base on VLAN, STP & RST, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and ACL in many infrastructures like Ethernet, fiber, Wi-Fi, cable, multi-vendor like Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet Analyzing system logs and identifying issues with Cisco/Huawei router, cisco /Huawei switch, and Cisco/Huawei/Fortinet Firewalls. • Proactive scheduled maintenance, Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases Requirements and Qualifications • Minimum years of experience: 2 Years • Qualification Degree: Computer Engineering, IT Engineering, Computer Science • Specific skills: Preferred to be IT/Security Certified, ex: CCNA, CCNA Security, HCIA, NSE4 • Knowledge: Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching in Security appliances and fields. • Fluent in English, Good in Arabic & Kurdish Languages. • Knowledge of core banking solutions and different platforms of banking products • Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Firewall, SIEM, WAF, PAM and Core SW. • Knowledge of network protocols and concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, FTP,SFTP, SSH, SSL, LDAP, SAML, etc. • Knowledge of system vulnerability analysis and security testing • Knowledge of security best practices as related to server infrastructure How to apply: candidates who fit the requirement mentioned above are highly encouraged to send their CVs via email at [email protected] mentioning in the subject line.
