● JHCompany looking for: Financial Controller Location: [Baghdad Iraq] Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Job Summary: The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the organization's financial health and stability. The Financial Controller will collaborate closely with the CFO and other department heads to make informed financial decisions and drive strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. • Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions and lenders. • Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance. • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial laws. • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. • Manage the annual external audit process. • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and cost control. • Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes and systems. • Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and make recommendations to optimize liquidity. • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. • Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities. • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. •salary will be discussed at the interview & it will be not less than 1,800,000 D ‼Please write the job applied for in the subject field.
