Seeking a senior finance professional with contextual CPA/ACCA/CPA or CA (Inter) qualifications, experience in finance over 2 years, responsible for financial tasks, policies, and internal controls.
Vacancy Announcement We are a large group of companies based in Erbil in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, having businesses in diverse sectors. We are looking for finance staff. The Positions Senior Finance Associate The Primary functions - Responsible for finance and accounting functions across our businesses, including subsidiaries and associated entities - Responsible for periodic and annual financial closing, compilation, and finalization of financial statements - Responsible for preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, estimates, preparing variance analysis reports, assessing causes for variation, and updating the stakeholders - Responsible for development and implementation of internal control systems, framing of policies, procedures and regulations relating to accounting, finance, procurement, human resources and financial matters The Suitable Applicant - For Senior Finance Associate position, CA/ACCA/CPA with 2-3 years’ experience or CA (Inter) with 8+ years’ experience in finance. Experience in a holding company or a Group is desirable; - Excellent command of English is essential; knowledge of Kurdish and/or Arabic is mandatory - Eye for detail - Utmost integrity, professionalism, and ability to keep confidentiality - Good knowledge of the IFRS and Iraqi Unified Accounting Standards - Good experience in working with ERP systems, Accounting packages and MS Office Suite - Willingness to relocate to Erbil in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq The Offer Competitive compensation and benefits package based on qualification and experience. • Please email your CV to ([email protected])
