Position: Senior Procurement Specialist Location: Baghdad Main Responsibilities: - Vendor Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate with vendors to secure the most favorable terms while fostering strong vendor relationships. - Purchase Order Review: Thoroughly review purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate costs associated with each purchase order, including labor and material expenses. - Supply Chain Coordination: Effectively coordinate the flow of materials and products throughout the supply chain by collaborating with various departments within the organization. - Supplier Sourcing: Determine the optimal sources of supply for all company requirements, considering factors such as price, quality, delivery time, and other relevant criteria. - Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to ensure the consistent provision of high-quality products at competitive prices. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering Discipline. - A minimum of 3 years of experience as a procurement specialist/officer in a manufacturing environment. - Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize procurement processes. - Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
