📢 We’re Hiring – Junior Mechanical Engineer (Maintenance) 🏭 Company: Qaiwan Steel Factory 📍 Location: Qaiwan Steel Factory, Kalar–Kifri, Iraq 👷♂️ Position: Junior Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance 🔧 Job Purpose: Qaiwan Steel Factory is looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join the Maintenance Department. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers to develop their skills in an industrial steel manufacturing environment. ⚙️ Key Responsibilities: • Assist in preventive & corrective maintenance of rolling mill, melting shop, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, cranes, cooling systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems • Conduct routine inspections and report abnormalities • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement • Assist in installation, alignment, commissioning, and overhaul of equipment • Maintain lubrication programs and maintenance records • Support maintenance documentation, ISO compliance, and CMMS updates • Ensure safety standards are followed during all maintenance activities • Coordinate with production, electrical, and instrumentation teams 📌 Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Diploma with experience may be considered) • 0–2 years experience in mechanical maintenance • Very good English (written & spoken), Arabic preferred • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment • Ability to read technical drawings and manuals • Basic MS Office skills (SAP/CMMS is a plus) • Strong awareness of industrial safety standards 💰 Salary: Based on qualifications and experience 📩 How to Apply: Send your CV to: ✉️ [email protected] #All_Kurdistan_Jobs
