Manage security operations for a project site in southern Iraq, including mobile and static security teams.
Job Vacancy: Project Security Operations Manager Rotation: 8 Weeks On / 4 Weeks Off Location: Project site, Southern Iraq We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the Project Security Operations Manager position. Role Description: The position has overall responsibility for security operations at the recently awarded project worksite for Company (Erinys). This position must establish and maintain a strong link with the client operations manager and security manager who the position reports to on site. Internal stakeholders include the Company’s Country operations management committee, which includes the Country Ops Manager, Country Director, Commercial Director, along with the HR Manager. The position will be the primary focus in country for client liaison and contract compliance. The position requires prudent management of all components of the project security, including the Mobile PSD Teams and the local national static security team. Requirements (non-negotiable): * English as a first language – Essential; UK / South African Nationals preferred * Prior security operations management experience in mobile and static security in Iraq - Essential * FPOSI, / FREC Level 3 or 4 / EMR - Essential * Close Protection Qualification/Hostile Environment Training- Preferred * HSE qualifications - Preferred * Management skills – leadership, analytical, decisive but consultative; capable of innovative thinking and managing change. * Commercial skills – commercially astute with sufficient understanding of contractual law; capable of contributing to production of business plans, technical and commercial bids, contract analysis and budget management. * Communication skills – High EQ is a MUST due to multiple stakeholder management requirements. English communications (oral and written) must be at a Native level. Other languages (Arabic, French, Italian) would be beneficial but not a requirement. * Computer skills: capable of producing reports and presentations of a high standard. High level of MS OFFICE is a must. * Operational skills – Capable of producing risk assessments and security plans independently and executing such plans on the worksite. * Strong intra-personal skills – capable of galvanizing a team and negotiating effectively. * Strong administrative and organizational skills - must demonstrate proven history of having successfully established or conducted internal/external compliance audits to ISO18788/PSC-1 standards.
