Business Development Officer Job Reference: ED-BDO-026-8-4 About the Job Location: Erbil, Iraq Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary Ever Digital is looking for a smart, organized, and commercially minded Business Development Officer to support the company’s growth. The role includes identifying new products and digital solutions, contacting local and international solution providers, exploring partnership opportunities, and following up on business targets and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Research new software, technology, and digital solutions. - Identify local and international partners, vendors, and solution providers. - Contact companies through professional emails, calls, and online meetings. - Explore reseller, distribution, implementation, and partnership opportunities. - Evaluate opportunities based on market demand, profitability, and competition. - Support management in setting targets and execution plans. - Track deadlines, partnerships, and assigned initiatives. - Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate follow-up records. - Coordinate meetings and support the launch of new solutions. - Monitor market trends, competitors, and new technologies. Requirements - Must be based in Erbil, Iraq. - Fluency in Kurdish, Arabic, and English is mandatory. - Minimum two years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, account management, or a similar role. - Strong understanding of business, sales processes, and commercial opportunities. - Excellent communication and professional English email-writing skills. - Strong research, analysis, organization, and follow-up skills. - Smart, proactive, resourceful, and able to learn new technologies quickly. - Able to manage multiple tasks, targets, and deadlines. - Confident when communicating with business owners, managers, and international companies. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and online business tools. - Experience in software, ERP, IT, or digital solutions is a strong advantage. - Knowledge of Odoo ERP is a strong advantage. Performance Expectations - Work toward assigned monthly and quarterly targets. - Identify new business opportunities and potential partners. - Arrange meetings and partnership discussions. - Maintain consistent follow-up and reporting. - Support the successful launch of new partnerships and services.
