Evaluate project outcomes, effectiveness, relevance, and achievements. Prepare final report, develop methodology, and provide recommendations for future projects focusing on human rights in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Hello Dears, We are currently looking for an External Evaluation Consultant to join the KCIL team in Sulaymaniyah. Details about the consultancy position are as follows: Assess the outcomes of the project activities underneath the project objective, including both intended and unintended outcomes, both positive and negative. Evaluate the overall activities, effectiveness, relevance, and achievements of the project. The evaluation will measure the impact of the project on the perception of the key actors and stakeholders. Identify and articulate lessons learned, good practices, and concrete recommendations to inform future program design for similar projects in the KRI context. Writing final report including Executive Summary, Key Findings, and Programmatic Recommendations. The tools, interview lists, and other relevant material should be attached in annexes. The selected consultant is expected to develop the methodology including tools for data collection and analysis framework. The selected consultant is expected to spend 25 working-days for preparing and conducting his/her evaluation. Qualifications & Preferred Skills • At least a bachelor’s degree in social sciences or other relevant disciplines. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and conducting evaluations and/or in the non-profit sector. • Demonstrated in-depth understanding and practical experience in the implementation project on human rights in the KRI. • Strong organizational skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. • Fluency in spoken and written English and Kurdish is required. Arabic is an additional asset.
