Job Announcement – Maintenance Engineer Company: NASEEM Department: Surveying Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Baghdad, Iraq Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary NASEEM is seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its Surveying Department in Baghdad. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing Trimble surveying equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The role requires a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering, the ability to diagnose technical issues, and proficiency in reading electrical circuits and using calibration and diagnostic instruments. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Trimble surveying equipment and devices. Diagnose technical faults, identify defective components, and repair or replace parts as required. Ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets required performance and quality standards. Read and interpret electrical circuits and technical diagrams to identify and resolve equipment issues. Perform calibration, testing, and technical analysis using appropriate diagnostic instruments. Conduct preventive maintenance and develop maintenance checklists and procedures. Monitor equipment condition, maintenance requirements, and warranty coverage. Ensure proper installation, configuration, and functioning of equipment. Assist in managing maintenance-related spare parts, stock items, and replacement components. Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide technical support when required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Experience with Trimble surveying equipment or similar technical instruments is highly preferred. Male candidates aged 28–36 years. Required Skills and Competencies Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical circuits and technical diagrams. Strong troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and problem-solving skills. Professional knowledge of calibration, testing, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Strong technical and analytical skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
