📢 WE’RE HIRING | SENIOR ACCOUNTANT Masar Al-Tamkeen (Hawax) is seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Erbil, Iraq. 📍 Location: Erbil, Iraq 💼 Position: Senior Accountant 📄 Contract Type: Permanent 🕘 Employment Type: Full-Time 🏢 Work Arrangement: Office-Based 🎓 Experience Required: Minimum 7 years in accounting and finance 🏢 About the Company Masar Al-Tamkeen (Hawax) is a leading provider of integrated services across oil and gas, airport services, security, and heavy industries, committed to excellence, innovation, and reliable service delivery. ✅ Key Responsibilities - Prepare, review, and post approved accounting transactions in SAP. - Review invoices, purchase orders, payment requests, approvals, and supporting documents. - Prepare and track payment packages for vendors, projects, payroll, and approved transfers. - Prepare customer invoices and maintain the invoice tracker. - Conduct weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. - Maintain cash registers, cash records, and supporting documentation. - Manage accounts payable and receivable, supplier reconciliations, and aging schedules. - Track employee and project advances and follow up on outstanding settlements. - Prepare monthly payroll packages, including salary calculations, payslips, deductions, and bank and cash salary files. - Support month-end closing, audit requests, financial reporting, and the correction of SAP and accounting-record errors. 🎯 Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. - Minimum 7 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably at Senior Accountant level. - Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end closing. - Mandatory proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel. - Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations, aging schedules, and management reporting. - Good understanding of internal controls, audit readiness, and financial documentation. - Knowledge of IFRS and Iraqi statutory requirements is an advantage. - Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Good written and spoken English. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet regular and urgent deadlines. 📩 How to Apply Interested candidates should send their CV to: 📧 Email: [email protected] Email Subject: Senior Accountant #All_Kurdistan_Jobs
