Operations Manager - Logistics We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in our logistics centers. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dispatch centers. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring your team members to help them achieve their performance goals. Your responsibilities will include: 1 Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to improve our logistics and delivery processes 2 Promoting a culture of 100% customer centricity and providing outstanding customer service 3 Maintaining a high standard of health and safety 4 Fostering an atmosphere of best practice sharing among employees 5 Managing the day-to-day business of the dispatch centers, including: 1 Ensuring proactive and constructive communication with the sales team 2 Monitoring the delivery and performance metrics of multiple branches 3 Coordinating employee schedules, deadlines, quality initiatives, and process change actions 4 Developing, coaching, and inspiring employees to achieve higher levels of performance You will also be responsible for paying particular attention to: 1 The safety of your team members 2 Employee engagement 3 Motivating your team to perform at their best 4 Talent and succession planning 5 Training and education Qualifications: 1 University degree 2 5-7 years of experience in operations or facilities management, with at least 5 years in a management capacity 3 Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, effective communication skills, and strong leadership skills 4 Retail background is a plus 5 Excellent command of written and spoken English Preferred Qualifications: 1 Experience in a manufacturing, production, or shipping and logistics environment 2 Experience leading teams in a large, dynamic, and process-driven business environment 3 Proven track record of improving metrics at the state level If you are a highly motivated and experienced operations manager who is passionate about developing and leading teams, we encourage you to apply.
