JOB SUMMARY: The operation (surgery department) coordinator will have main responsibility to coordinate booking of surgeries and contact with related doctors, liaise and coordinate logistics and procurement process at surgery department as well as having main responsibility for the stock of surgery department. 2. Job Description: • Scheduling surgeries in cooperation with the reception and surgery department. · Communication and coordination between related doctors, patients, relatives and surgery staff. • Having main responsibility for the stock in surgery department and regular reporting. • Coordinate all procurements related to the needs of surgery department with the logistic officer at Swedish Hospital. • Identify needs at surgery department and report to the concerned departments. • Ensure compliance with the internal policies and guide lines adopted by SH as well as requirement of health ministry in KRG. 3. Job Requirements: • Documented university degree, preferable in medical related education. • Minimum 2 years of documented experience in administration and logistics of surgery department, preferable at hospitals. • Strong knowledge of stock house management is a plus. • Demonstrated administration and HR management capability. • Lingual skills: good speaking and writing Kurdish, Arabic and English. 4.Reporting: • The operation coordinator is working under supervision of the Head of Surgery department and also is collaborating with the logistic officer at SH. • reporting to head of surgery department and logistic officer. 5.
