Job Announcement: Accountant/Admin Position at SPEC Energy - Iraq/Erbil Position:-Accountant/Admin Location:-Iraq / Erbil Company:-SPEC Energy for oil and gas SPEC Energy, a leading player in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented male professional to join our team as an Accountant/Admin. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our operations in Iraq. Key Responsibilities:- - Perform comprehensive bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. - Prepare and manage budgets, including forecasting and financial planning. - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented. - Utilize Odoo software for managing financial data, reporting, and administrative tasks. - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. - Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. - Conduct regular financial audits and implement improvements as necessary. - Support general administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations. - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. - Ensure compliance with all local and international accounting standards and regulations. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Proven experience in bookkeeping and budget preparation, preferably in the oil and gas industry. - Proficiency in using Odoo or similar ERP/accounting software. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. -Advanced level proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken Preferred Qualifications:- - Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, etc.) are an advantage. - Experience in an administrative role is a plus. - Familiarity with the financial regulations and practices in the oil and gas industry.
