Tubular Running Services (TRS) Operations Supervisor Department: Tubular Running Services / Operations Reports To: Operations Manager Location: Workshop & Field Locations Preferable: Local Interested candidates may send their CV to: [email protected] JOB PURPOSE The TRS Operations Supervisor at Independent Oil Tools Iraq (IOT Iraq) is responsible for leading and supervising all tubular running service operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery in line with IOT Iraq standards, client requirements, and industry best practices. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Execution · Supervise all tubular running services operations including casing, tubing, liners, and completion strings. · Ensure correct rig-up, operation, and rig-down of TRS equipment. · Execute operations in accordance with IOT Iraq procedures and client-approved programs. · Act as IOT Iraq site representative with clients and rig management. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) · Enforce IOT Iraq safety-first culture and zero-incident philosophy. · Lead toolbox talks, JSAs, and risk assessments. · Ensure compliance with HSE policies, client rules, and regulations. · Exercise Stop Work Authority when required. Planning & Coordination · Review well programs and operational risks prior to job execution. · Coordinate manpower, equipment, and logistics. · Ensure equipment is inspected, tested, and certified. · Liaise with drilling contractors and third-party services. Team Leadership & Development · Supervise and mentor TRS crews. · Support training, competency development, and performance evaluation. · Promote teamwork and operational discipline. Technical & Quality Assurance · Ensure correct torque and load application. · Verify equipment calibration and monitoring systems. · Troubleshoot operational and equipment-related issues. · Ensure compliance with OEM, client, and IOT Iraq quality standards. Reporting & Documentation · Prepare daily and end-of-job reports. · Record NPT, incidents, and lessons learned. · Maintain equipment and certification records. Continuous Improvement · Identify safety and efficiency improvements. · Participate in post-job reviews. · Support introduction of new TRS technologies. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE · Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferred). · 5–8 years TRS experience with supervisory exposure. · Well Control certification preferred. · Safety certifications if applicable.
