Responsible for ensuring workplace safety by identifying hazards, conducting audits, administering safety programs, and providing training on fire and machinery safety.
Job Opportunity – Safety Officer Company: Fine Hygienic Paper Co. Location: / Erbil Pirdawood Job Type: Full-Time Application Deadline: March 1, 2026 Role Purpose Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by identifying, evaluating, and controlling workplace hazards. Provide safety coaching and technical support to production teams. Key Responsibilities Maintain training records and investigate incidents Administer safety programs aligned with regulations Conduct site audits and initiate corrective actions Review safety evaluations for new equipment/processes Monitor safety KPIs (AFR, ASR, etc.) Implement emergency and OHS plans Support HSE procedures (fall protection, electrical safety, contractor safety) Deliver fire protection and machinery safety training Requirements Experience in a similar role OHSAS 18001 internal auditor certification (or ability to obtain within one year) Knowledge of emergency incident command systems Strong communication skills Kurdish & Arabic required; English preferred Ability to work shifts and rotations How to Apply Send updated CV to [email protected] Subject line: Safety Officer #All_Kurdistan_Jobs
