Burger King® Iraq Hiring: Senior Accountant – Erbil Burger King® Iraq is looking for a qualified Senior Accountant to join its Finance team and contribute to accurate and efficient financial management across its operations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards Handle daily accounting transactions, including journal entries, invoices, payments, and reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and support the closing process Monitor expenses, budgets, and cost controls across restaurants and head office Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, suppliers, and intercompany accounts Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements Support internal and external audits and respond to queries in a timely manner Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making support Qualifications: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reports, formulas, data analysis) Hands-on experience with QuickBooks accounting software Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Work Location: Erbil, Iraq How to Apply: Send CV to [email protected] Subject line: Senior Accountant – [Your Name] Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
