The U.S. Embassy Baghdad is hiring a Close Protection Assistant/Interpreter with a high school diploma and at least 4 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or security. Fluent Arabic and good English skills are required. Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Position: Close Protection Assistant/Interpreter (Bodyguard Coordinator) Agency: U.S. Embassy Baghdad Location: Baghdad, Iraq Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $46,851 USD per year Application Period: May 8 – May 14, 2025 Minimum Qualifications: • Education: Completion of High School (12th Grade) is required. • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in law enforcement, military, or security roles. • Languages: • Arabic: Fluent (speaking, reading, and writing), including translation capability (may be tested) • English: Good working knowledge (speaking, reading, and writing) (may be tested) • Other Requirements: • Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
