The Energy Planning Manager will plan, regulate, and monitor energy use in an organization or facility. Responsibilities include optimizing power systems, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting sustainable development. A graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering is required.
Job Announcement Position: Energy Planning Manager Duty Location: Erbil As an energy manager, you'll plan, regulate and monitor the energy use in an organisation or facility. Your aim will be to improve efficiency by evaluating energy use and putting in place new policies and changes where needed. You'll coordinate all aspects of energy management, from reduction of carbon dioxide emissions to waste management and sustainable development. Job Responsibilities • Responsible for all Power equipment, A/C systems, Generators & Fuel form planning and optimization perspective. • Formulate strategic of objectives belong to power section. • Ability to make engineering decisions for new ideas to be deployed. • Business continuity plan for service availability. • Optimize the power OPEX in Telecom sites. • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise projects team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. • Benchmarking energy consumption against best practice guidelines. • Carrying out site inspections and completing energy surveys • Collecting energy monitoring data and keeping accurate records • Creating energy policies and systems • Encouraging the use of renewable and sustainable energy resources • Negotiating with contractors and external stakeholders • perform any other job related duties as assigned by Line Manager Qualification: • Graduate Engineer in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation & Control from an accredited College or University. • Minimum 3 years of combined cycle power plant O&M experience with minimum three years in team lead position in plant maintenance.
