A company in Baghdad is hiring a General Ledger Supervisor. Responsibilities include monitoring general ledger accounts, financial reporting, and team management. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and relevant experience.
We are HIRING : Work location : Iraq - Baghdad \ Al karrada - Wathiq Square Position : General Ledger supervisor Reporting to : Financial Manager Main Responsibilities : o Monitor and maintain the accuracy and completeness of all general ledger accounts. o Reconcile general ledger accounts to subsidiary ledgers and external statements. o Analyze general ledger transactions and identify any discrepancies or errors. o Prepare journal entries to accurately record financial transactions. o Ensure compliance with established accounting standards and internal control procedures. · Financial Reporting & Analysis: o Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. o Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management. o Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. o Prepare financial information for external auditors. · Team Management & Development: o Supervise and train general ledger team members. o Develop and implement accounting procedures and policies. o Monitor team performance and address any issues. o Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback. o Identify and recommend training opportunities for team members. · Additional Duties: o Collaborate with other departments on accounting-related matters. o Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and changes in IFRS. o Maintain a secure and controlled environment for financial data. o Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred). · Minimum 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting. · Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. · Proficient in accounting software (SAP, e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle Financials). · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Leadership and team management skills. if theres anyone fit for this position requirements and interested to join our team, please send your CV on the below Email : [email protected] or to the Whatsapp : 07815227766
