Job Title: Accounting team lead - Taurus Arm Group Location: As Sulaimaniyah, Kurdistan, Iraq. TaurusArm, a leading energy company, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Team Lead to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day accounting operations and assist Finance Manager to Report for the energy sector. Responsibilities: Oversee the accounting department and manage a team of accountants. -Control the budgeting and forecasting process and provide valuable insights to support business decision making. -Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial information through regular reconciliation and analysis. Work with internal and external auditors to provide information and support as needed. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and tax laws to ensure the company's compliance. - Participate in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and -Provide mentorship and guidance to the accounting team to help them grow and develop professionally. -Collaborate with other departments to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the finance and accounting Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or Part-qualified (CPA, ACCA, or CMA) -A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a same role. -Experience in the energy sector is preferred. -Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting. -Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
