Manage Linux and Windows servers, perform backups, upgrades, and troubleshoot infrastructure components.
Job Announcement Title: Data Center (System Admin) Location: Erbil Job Description: Newroz Telecom Company is looking to hire a System Admin to support the business by maintaining its technology. He/She will represent the Packet Core Department, supporting our internal customers as a link between end-users and technical support. Responsibilities: • Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary. • Install and Maintain backup Software on Linux and Windows Servers. • Daily maintenance and administration of Windows and Linux systems. • Manage, coordinate, and implement server software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes. • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. • Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required. • Maintain and troubleshoot NFV Telecom infrastructure. • Maintain and Troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory servers. • Administer and maintain local DNS and DHCP servers. • Maintain and Troubleshoot the DFS (Distributed File system). • Manage and troubleshoot any issues happened related to the server’s hardware. • Responsible for server Virtualization VMware. • Maintain and Troubleshoot Storage. • Responsible for the administration of the email system (Exchange servers). • Responsible for Email Security. • Responsible for Virtual Machines and installing new servers based on Department’s requirements. • Responsible for Backup and restoring all organization Servers. • Reporting technical cases and dealing with often support team leader. Desired Skills & Experience: • Minimum years of experience: 2 Years • Qualification Degree: Computer Engineering, IT Engineering, Computer Science • Specific skills: Preferred to be System admin Certified, ex: MCSA, HCIA Data Center, CompTIA Storage+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA. • Knowledge: Hands-on experience in system admin, storage, and virtualization. • Fluent in English, Good in Arabic & Kurdish Languages.
