A Cost Accountant position is available at an industrial food company in Erbil, Iraq. • The ideal candidate must have with the following qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in accounting with a strong background in cost accounting. • At least 4 years of proven work experience. • Advanced MS Excel skills. • Proficiency in both Arabic and English. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are also essential. The responsibilities of the position include • Daily journal entry posting. • Conducting cost studies for new products. • Preparing reports for product cost. • Monitoring the variance between actual and standard cost. • Preparing monthly accounting reports for management. • Conducting periodic physical inventory, establishing and updating standard costs. • Maintaining and reviewing the general ledger while reconciling balance sheets.
