Project Name : Shari Aram Project Job title : Accountant Reporting to : Accounting Manager Dept. : Finance Dept. Working Hours : Saturday up to Thursday / 09:00AM to 04:00 PM Location : Iraq ,Sulaimaniyah Account Manager Job Duties: Provides financial information to the accountant manager by researching, analyzing, accounting data and preparing reports. Responsibilities & duties: 1. Ensure that necessary books of accounts like cashbook, ledger etc. are prepared and compare with exchange bank statement. 2. Update the fixed asset register for each addition of assets on the basis of disbursement or Journal voucher. 3. Prepare Bank reconciliation statement every month and Reconcile sub ledger balances with General Ledger. 4. Prepare bank and cash payment (RFP) Vouchers, receipt vouchers, journal vouchers. 5. Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures. 6. Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner. 7. Pay any debt as it comes due for payment made with cash, checks, credit cards, and debit cards. 8. Ensure that receivables are collected promptly and reported on monthly bases. 9. Record cash receipts and make bank deposits. 10. Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy. 11. Maintain the petty cash fund. 12. Maintain an orderly accounting filing system. 13. Accurately and efficiently operate cash registers. 14. Monitor and support the collection officer in branch. 15. Payable reports and follow up on monthly bases. 16. Monitor cash on delivery or COD roll payments for collection in branches. 17. Anything else related required by direct supervisor. Essential Academic & trades qualifications: - Minimum 4 year experience in accountant dept. - Well knowledge about computer program especially Amin program and Microsoft office applications. - The best chance to whom that have a good knowledge in Al Ameen System Personal qualities & behavioral traits: - Two years of continues work in Finance dept. - Two years’ experience in managerial positions. - Written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic in addition to Kurdish. - High level in negotiation and conflict management skills. - Good knowledge in computer programs especially Offices as well as internet browsing. - Keep business info and secrets. - High analytical level and ability to prepare and evaluate feasibility studies.
