The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on British standards and international codes. Responsibilities: • Design, analyze, and implement electrical systems for a variety of construction projects, ensuring strict compliance with British standards and international codes. • Collaborate seamlessly with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly within overall project plans. • Generate detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations, adhering to industry standards and regulations. • Conduct thorough site inspections to assess electrical installations, providing insightful recommendations for improvements or modifications. • Work closely with project teams to ensure that electrical designs align seamlessly with project objectives, budget, and schedule. • Stay well-informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and changes in British standards and international codes. Qualifications: • bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution. • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry. • In-depth knowledge of British electrical standards (e.g., BS 7671) and familiarity with international codes and standards. • Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
