Qimat Al-lqtidar Engineering Co. is seeking an experienced and dynamic HSE Director to lead and oversee the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) function across all company projects. - Location: Basra, Iraq This is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and implementing the Company's HSE Management System, ensuring compliance with client requirements, Iraqi regulations, and international standards, while fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.Mi nimum 10 years of HSE experience in the Oil & Gas industry.At l east 5 years in a senior HSE leadership role overseeing multiple projects.Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, NFPA, and international HSE best practices.Proven e xperience in leading HSE teams, incident investigations, audits, risk management, and client compliance.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.NEBOSH, IOSH , ISO Lead Auditor, or equivalent professional certifications are highly preferred.Summary Of The PositionLead the Compa ny's HSE strategy across all projects.Manage and mento r project HSE teams.Ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.Drive continuous imp rovement in HSE performance.Lead incident investig ations, audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness programs.Monitor HSE KPIs and rep ort directly to senior management.How to Apply Please send y our CV to [email protected] with "HSE Director" in the e-mail subject line.Please Note: Due to the hi gh volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
