هەلی کار بۆ ژمێریار لە بغداد SENIOR ACCOUNTANT Job opportunity in Baghdad Leading Bank in Iraq Key Responsibilities: Budgeting and Forecasting: -Lead the development and monitoring of annual budgets and financial forecasts. -Provide insights and recommendations to improve budgetary performance. Bank Reconciliation: -Oversee the reconciliation of bank statements and resolve complex discrepancies. -Implement controls to enhance the accuracy of financial transactions. Financial Reporting: -Prepare and analyze complex financial reports for management and regulatory authorities. -Ensure financial statements follow accounting principles. Supervision and Training: -Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. -Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and ensure adherence to best practices. Audit Support: -Manage the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits. -Respond to audit inquiries and implement recommendations to strengthen internal controls. Compliance: -Ensure compliance with accounting standards, banking regulations, and internal policies. -Stay informed about changes in financial regulations affecting the banking industry. Process Improvement: -Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations. -Implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Skills & Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree. -Proven experience (2-5 years) as a Senior Accountant in a banking or financial institution.
