**Job Announcement: Operations Manager Location:** Erbil, Iraq **Reports to:** Executive Director / General Manager **Job Summary: **An **economic and financial consultancy company** in Erbil is seeking a qualified **Operations Manager** to lead and coordinate daily office operations. **Key Responsibilities: **• Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities across all departments. • Monitor staff performance, project progress, and ensure achievement of KPIs. • Develop and enforce internal policies, procedures, and workflows. • Liaise with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure excellent service delivery. • Assist in budget planning, financial tracking, and resource allocation. • Oversee internal communication and task follow-ups to ensure timely execution. • Support business development and client engagement efforts. • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements. • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and professional standards. **Required Qualifications and Skills: **1. Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage). 2. 4–5 years of proven experience in operations or project management within a company or NGO, with a solid understanding of cross-functional team coordination. 3. Prior auditing experience with the ability to assess compliance, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions. 4. Strong market analysis skills, capable of interpreting economic trends and identifying business opportunities. 5. Strategic planning capabilities with a demonstrated ability to design and implement business development and operational improvement plans. 6. KPI-oriented mindset, with experience in setting, monitoring, and reporting key performance indicators for team and project performance. 7. Proven experience in policy and procedure writing, including the ability to draft, revise, and enforce internal operational guidelines. 8. Skilled in delivering training and capacity-building programs, with the ability to communicate concepts clearly to staff and stakeholders. 9. Leadership qualities with the ability to manage and develop teams, delegate tasks effectively, and lead by example. 10. Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines. 11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with project management tools is a plus. 12.
