Job Title: IT Assistant Location: Cristal Erbil Hotel Job Summary: The IT Assistant will support the hotel’s IT department in maintaining the technology infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all systems and providing technical support to staff and guests. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network systems, and assisting with the implementation of new technologies. Key Responsibilities: • Provide first-level technical support for hotel staff and guests. • Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computers, printers, Wi-Fi, and other IT equipment. • Support the network administration, including monitoring network performance and addressing connectivity issues. • Assist in maintaining security systems, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and data protection measures. • Collaborate with the IT Manager on the installation and configuration of new systems and software. • Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, service requests, and solutions. • Support IT-related aspects of hotel operations, including Point of Sale (POS) systems, room key systems, and communication systems. Qualifications: • Diploma or BSc degree in Information Technology or related field. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of network systems, hardware, and software. • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Preferred: • Experience in a hotel or hospitality industry IT role. • Proficiency in Kurdish, and (English or Arabic) • Familiarity with hotel management software (PMS) and POS systems.
