An international company in the gas sector is looking for a project engineer based in Sulaymaniyah. the candidate must have the below qualifications and skills ; •Bachelor’s degree or certificate in mechanical engineering or related field an advantage • Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic and english languages • 3-5 years experiences in the mentioned position. •flexible and to be able work under pressure **Duties & Responsibilities:** Supervise, prioritize, and assign tasks for Installations & Maintenance Technicians - Evaluate and recommend Installations & Maintenance Technicians' employment candidates - Ensure that Installations & Maintenance Technicians are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively and safely carry out their job functions - Supervise the daily activities of the Installations & Maintenance Technicians and ensure that all policies and procedures are abided by - Report to the Project Department Head on the performance of the Installations & Maintenance Technicians team against preset goals - Report to the Project Department Head on projects/tasks status, deviation from the project plan, and any other challenges faced - Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs - Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site. - Surveying the site. - Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations. - Ensure that all materials used and work performed is as per specifications. - Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plants. - Manage, monitor, and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect. - Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project. - Liaise with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers, and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress. - Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force - Plan the work and efficiently organize the plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines. - Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site. - Prepare reports as required; - Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise If you are interested, send your CV to the below email address [email protected] Subject: project engineer
