4x Medic (Female highly recommended) هەلی کار لە مەخمور Makhmur,Iraq ] **Description** The SHO Team medic is to provide medical support to SHO staff engaged in EOD clearance activities in Iraq.  In addition to the overall purpose of the job, maintain high hygiene standards in the operational area as well as in the camp/base area. **Reporting:** As a Team medic for SHO you will report directly to the Team Leader. ** **   **    The applicant for the job must not be a government employee** **                               ألا يكون المتقدم للوظيفة موظفًا حكوميًا              ** **Qualifications & Preferred Skills** **General:** The SHO Team Medic is responsible for the following:   • To provide efficient medical support to SHO Operations staff. • To ensure that the Casevac/Medevac Plan is practiced regularly IAW SHO SOPs.  Further to ensure that he/she knows the location and route to the nearest medical facility(s), in the event of an emergency, and their telephone contact details. • Test and establish radio communications between all positions on the clearance site. • Ensure that all personal information (blood groups, allergies etc.) are recorded, ensure that visitor’s information is correctly reflected in the log and that visitors are signed out on departure of the site.  • To ensure that all medical equipment/supplies are maintained and fully stocked at all times. • To ensure that all medical supplies are within the prescribed expiry dates.  Any medical supplies which are nearing expiry are to be brought to the attention of the SHO Supervisor in a timely manner and arrangements made for their replacement. • Ensure that a high level of hygiene is maintained in accommodation areas and working areas by all SHO staff. • Undertake and apply learning from appropriate training and development programs. • Maintain and care for all equipment issued by SHO.  The Medic will be responsible for any losses or damages due to negligence and will be liable for repair or replacement thereof. • Prepare and/or support the clearance teams during admin area setup, and during the change/rest time, preparing food, and tea. • Any other duties as required by the Team Leader/Site Supervisor.     **Additional responsibilities include:** • Contribute to culture of excellence, continuous improvement and performance optimization across all projects; • Be a role model for diversity and inclusion, as well as a positive role model for contributing to the team spirit. **Qualifications and Expertise:** • At least medic degree • Minimum 1 (One) year of relevant work experience (Mine Action). • An understanding and commitment to SHO’s aims and values.  **Skills Requirements**   1. Communication skills 2. languages Kurdish and Arabic   3. Relevant work experience (Mine Action Medic) 4.
