a company Specialized in Elevator and Escalators looking for Maintenance Supervisor in Erbil Duties and Responsibilities. Develop periodic maintenance plans for technicians and maintenance engineers and monitor their completion. Communicate daily with work teams and set the daily work schedule based on incoming requests or the established plan. Keep a detailed record of completed repairs and update it regularly based on the project and elevator. Receive maintenance forms from technicians and engineers, archive them, issue invoices as per company policy or contracts, and send them to the supervisor. Review purchase requests from technicians or engineers, determine what can be sourced from the warehouse, and buy shortages from the local market after supervisor approval. Purchase maintenance and safety tools from the local market and deliver them to the warehouse or directly to technicians if urgently needed. Monitor subordinates’ attendance and performance, approving leaves based on work requirements. Train technicians through internal courses or on-the-job training to enhance their skills and expertise. Qualify and guide new technicians and engineers, ensuring they gain the necessary knowledge and skills for maintenance tasks according to company policies. Communicate with customers in case of changes to the periodic maintenance schedule. Conduct regular visits to elevator sites and perform tests to ensure maintenance operations are properly executed. Address inquiries from technicians on issues they lack experience in and find suitable solutions. Act on behalf of the head of the maintenance department in their absence, managing the team as directed. Participate in the selection process of candidates through tests or interviews. Maintain an archive of elevator blueprints. Prepare reports on completed work and send them to the direct manager. Study and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, explaining them to subordinates. Participate in preventive or emergency maintenance in case of staff shortages.
