Join The American International School Team Academic Director – Expat Job Summary: The Director of Academics (Curriculum Coordinator) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing curriculum development, supporting instructional excellence, and guiding professional development. This role ensures academic programs align with school goals and international standards while fostering continuous improvement and innovation. Key Responsibilities: • Curriculum Development: Lead the creation, review, and alignment of curriculum documents with national/international standards and best practices. • Instructional & Assessment Support: Support teachers with resources, classroom observation, and feedback. Analyze student data to guide instruction and improve learning outcomes. • Professional Development: Plan and deliver training sessions to strengthen teaching strategies, curriculum delivery, and assessment practices. • Curriculum Evaluation: Conduct periodic reviews and gather stakeholder feedback to revise and enhance curriculum content. • Daily Engagement: Teach at least one class, coordinate with teachers and administrators, monitor academic progress, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
