Job Title: Technical Manager Location: Erbil Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: Senior Level Industry: Water & Wastewater Treatment/Environmental Engineering Application Deadline: 13th May 2025 About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Technical Manager to lead our technical team and oversee all technical operations and projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality project execution, managing a team of engineers/Technicians, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, including engineers, Technicians, and support staff. • 7+ years of experience in water/wastewater treatment projects, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role. • Ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements. • Strong knowledge of water treatment processes (e.g., RO, UF, MBBR, STP, ETP, ZLD). • Experience with SCADA, PLC automation systems, and water treatment plant commissioning is a plus. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team. • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations. • Monitor project progress and adjust resources as necessary. • Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve processes and performance. • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with best practices and standards. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). • 5+ years of experience in a technical role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position. • Design, development, installation and maintenance of systems operating in the environmental field. • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Fluent in Kurdish, English and Arabic.
