The U.S. Mission in Iraq is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Human Resources Assistant (Dedicated MBC) position in the Human Resources Office at U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. Hiring Agency: Embassy Baghdad Position Title: Human Resources Assistant/ (Dedicated MBC)- All Sources Open Period: 02/03/2026 - 02/17/2026 Salary: USD $54,797 /Per Year Work Schedule: Full Time (40 hours per week). Education Requirements: Completion of two (2) years of general college studies is required. Experience: Three (3) years of work experience in handling/managing employees’ performance management, OR closely related Human Resources experience is required. Languages: English (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing is required. (This May be Tested) Arabic (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing is required. (This May be Tested) Skills and Abilities: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, and Internet). Ability to understand and use complex mathematical formulas to prepare statistical and analytical reports on various elements of data analysis. Strong writing skills to produce and update complex reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence. Training, presentation, briefing, and negotiation skills are required. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills to manage in-person and telephone contacts. Must be organized, diligent and able to work under pressure.
