Seeking experienced finance manager to oversee upstream and midstream operations, ensure PSC compliance, and lead financial reporting for oil and gas projects.
Miran Energy (HKN Energy & ONEX Group JV) is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead upstream and midstream finance operations, ensure PSC compliance, manage cost recovery submissions, and deliver strong financial reporting to partners and authorities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee GL, AP, AR, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure IFRS and PSC-compliant accounting and strong internal controls. Lead PSC cost recovery statements and JV accounting activities. Support partner and government audits and resolve related queries. Prepare and monitor the Annual Work Program & Budget (WP&B). Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and manage cash calls. Ensure compliance with fiscal and tax requirements. Lead and develop the finance team and enhance systems and processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/ACCA preferred). 8–10 years of experience in oil & gas or energy. Mandatory experience in PSC cost recovery and JV accounting. Strong knowledge of upstream accounting and cost allocation. Experience dealing with government entities and partners. ERP proficiency (SAP preferred). Willingness to travel and support extended hours during peak cycles.
