Job Title: Construction Site Manager Location: Erbil Reports to: Project Manager or Senior Site Manager Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: 4Bridges, a leading construction and development company in Erbil, is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at the construction site, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The role involves collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and local authorities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Site Operations Management: - Oversee and coordinate day-to-day activities at the construction site to ensure project efficiency. - Supervise and direct contractors, subcontractors, and laborers. - Monitor site progress, ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality standards. - Manage logistics and oversee material deliveries. 2. Health, Safety, and Compliance: - Ensure all site operations comply with local regulations, health, and safety standards. - Implement safety protocols, conduct safety briefings, and perform regular hazard assessments. - Conduct safety inspections to adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements. 3. Project Coordination and Communication: - Serve as the main point of contact between the construction site and the project management team. - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and technical experts to resolve any site issues. - Maintain clear communication with clients and provide regular project updates. - Lead site meetings and prepare progress reports for senior management. 4. Budget and Cost Control: - Monitor on-site expenses to ensure the project stays within budget. - Verify contractor and supplier invoices for accuracy. - Optimize the use of materials, labor, and equipment to minimize costs. 5. Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution: - Address and resolve on-site technical and operational challenges. - Make informed decisions on construction methods, troubleshooting as needed. - Work closely with stakeholders to address any disputes or issues affecting the project. Required Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Certifications such as PMP, OSHA, or NEBOSH are an advantage. - Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in construction site management, ideally in large-scale projects. Proven experience leading construction teams and managing subcontractors. - Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local regulations.
