Join #voguefamily Job Title: Electrical BIM Modeler Company: Vogue Architects Job Type: Full-Time Location: Sulaymaniyah or Erbil Job Summary: Vogue Architects, which is an innovative engineering consultancy bureau, is seeking a skilled Electrical engineer with expertise in Revit to join our team. As an Electrical engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical models and designs using Revit software, contributing to the successful implementation of diverse projects in the field. Responsibilities: 1. Utilize Revit and AutoCAD software to create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and designs for a range of projects (e.g. residential and commercial), Ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. 2.  Leverage Revit for the development of 3D BIM models, accurately representing electrical components and systems within building structures. 3. Designing lighting systems tailored to the specific requirements of each project, considering factors such as illumination levels, energy efficiency, and aesthetic preferences. 4. Developing power systems that meet the demands of the project, including sizing and specifying electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels. 5. Designing low-current systems such as fire alarm systems, security systems, and data networks, ensuring seamless integration with the overall electrical infrastructure. 6. Designing electrical distribution boards and conducting load calculations to ensure proper distribution of power throughout the facility. 7. Planning site layouts and designing electrical power stations tailored to project needs, meeting regulatory standards. 8. Developing earthing systems to provide safety and mitigate the risk of electrical hazards. 9. Work closely with project teams (mechanical, structural, etc.) and project managers to understand project requirements and deadlines, delivering high-quality electrical models within specified timeframes. 10. Creating comprehensive bills of quantities (BOQ) detailing the materials, equipment required for the electrical components of each project. 11. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Revit technology, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrical engineering role. • Proven experience in electrical design and modeling using Revit and AutoCAD. • Experience with other BIM (Building Information Modeling) software is a plus. • Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office products. • Familiarity with local and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Excellent attention to detail, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet simultaneous deadlines.
