هەلی کار لە رێکخراوی ژیان بۆ کارمەندی پەیوەندییەکان لە هەولێر و دهۆک و موسل و سلێمانی Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights Public Relations Dohuk, Erbil, Nineveh, Sulaymaniyah Charity and voluntary work - Law - Marketing, advertising and PR - Media and Broadcasting Job Overview The Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights is seeking applicants for the position of C4JR Public Relations/Communications Officer at the location in Erbil (candidates from Duhok/Mosul/Sulaymaniyah are also eligible), Iraq, to create and implement communications strategies that further C4JR goals. Position Public Relations Officer (PRO) Status full-time Based Erbil/Duhok/Mosul/Sulaymaniyah/ Reports to Head of C4JR Secretariat/Head of Jiyan Foundation´s Program for Rights and Justice Required degree Journalism, communications, law or other social sciences degree Required experience No less than one year of experience in the field of public relations, advocacy etc. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Supports and promotes C4JR goals, through message development, creation of social media content and media outreach; Designs and implements an advocacy campaign promoting the C4JR; Works closely with C4JR Secretariat and Coordinating Committee; Drafts short media pieces about C4JR activities; Obtains input from, cooperates and consults C4JR members; Communicates with the media outlets in and outside Iraq; Further develops and updates C4JR web site; Designs printed and multimedia materials etc.; Cooperates with international human rights organizations and human rights lawyers; Carries out other related tasks; REQUIREMENTS Fluent in Arabic, Kurdish and an excellent command of the English language; Degree in journalism, communications, law or other social sciences degree; Basic knowledge on civil society organizations in Iraq and international human rights; A minimum of one year experience in managing public relations, designing and implementing advocacy activities and campaigns; Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team, cooperation with C4JR members and external partners; Ability to work independently and provide reports within a tight timeframe; Active interest in promoting human rights and social justice; awareness of current events both nationally and internationally; PERKS AND BENEFITS Participation in staff-to-staff training as well as seminars with external trainers; Access to special library with a large collection of literature on human rights, torture, mental and physical health etc. for self-study; Paid holidays (24 days for the full-time position) plus 15 statutory holidays. Additional paid holidays, especially on the occasion of religious festivals, maybe agreed upon; Voluntary pension scheme with employer contributions; About C4JR Coalition for Just Reparations (C4JR) is an alliance of 32 Iraqi NGOs calling for comprehensive reparations for civilian victims of atrocity crimes perpetrated during the ISIL conflict in Iraq. C4JR uses Iraqi law and international human rights law to support reparation claims of survivors and encourage Iraqi authorities to meet their obligation to provide reparations.
