Hiring Field Officer in Sinjar for official approvals, evaluation, data collection, site visits, and reporting. Resident of Sinjar with a bachelor's degree preferred.
A Job opportunity with the Japanese organization IVY in Sinjar/Sinuni: Position: Field Officer Place of work: Nineveh Governorate / Sinjar The deadline is October 31, 2021, by 11:00. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Main tasks: • Obtaining official approvals from the relevant local authorities and coordinating and liaising with the partner organization, government offices, and NGOs in the region. • In coordination with the follow-up and evaluation officer and supervisor in the Erbil office, conducting evaluations and collecting other data in the field. • Visiting project sites and ensuring that activities are going as planned. Documenting and photographing activities and submitting reports. • Ensure that all issues identified during the implementation of the activity are resolved in a timely manner and reported to the project management and responsible officer. • Support the Control Officer in monitoring and reporting on workflow and activities as required. • Submit regular reports to the supervisor. • Other tasks assigned, as needed. Qualifications and Skills Required: From the residents of Sinjar / Sinuni exclusively, and holds a bachelor's degree at least. Fluency in Arabic and Kurdish (local in Sinjar), and English is preferred. • You have good experience using Microsoft Office Suite. • The ability to communicate with others, interpersonal skills, good coordination, and planning. • Willingness to work flexibly during daily working hours. • A basic understanding of humanitarian principles prefers previous experience in education organizations.
