Job Opportunity – Senior Project Associate (Climate Action) – Erbil, Iraq The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is looking for a Senior Project Associate (Climate Action) to support its Transition and Recovery Division in Erbil. This role focuses on community engagement, climate resilience, livelihoods, and civil society support. Position: Senior Project Associate (Climate Action) Location: Erbil, Iraq Contract: Six months (possible extension) Application Deadline: 14 December 2025 Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and implement climate action and resilience activities. Engage with local authorities, civil society, and community groups. Facilitate participatory planning and community consultations. Monitor, report, and document field activities and progress. Support livelihoods, training sessions, and small-scale works. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in water, agriculture, environment, development studies, social sciences, or related field with 4+ years experience or high school diploma with 6+ years experience. Experience in community engagement, field coordination, or climate/livelihood projects. Fluent in English and Kurdish; other languages are a plus. Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
