Dalo Company in Kirkuk seeks an accountant with good skills in accounting, report preparation, and familiar with accounting programs. Position is on a renewable contract.
Job Title: Cost Accountant Job Summary The Cost Accountant is responsible for analyzing, controlling, and reporting costs related to production, operations, and inventory. This role supports management by providing accurate cost information, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and monitor manufacturing and operational costs • Prepare cost reports, variance analyses, and profitability analyses • Maintain and update standard costs, bills of materials, and routings • Track inventory costs and reconcile inventory accounts • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives • Evaluate cost drivers and recommend cost-reduction strategies • Ensure accurate cost allocation and absorption • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance teams • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Proven experience in cost accounting (manufacturing environment preferred) • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification • Experience with standard costing and variance analysis • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inventory management يجيد اللغة الكردية واللغه العربية والانكليزية يرجى ارسال السيفي على الايميل [email protected] او وتس اب 07504794004 #All_Kurdistan_Jobs
