We are currently seeking a Production Shift Leader to join our team and play a key role in shaping the plant’s operational success. Responsibilities Hands-on experience operating and supervising calcination systems, rotary kilns, furnaces, calciners, and milling systems Strong understanding of powder production processes including raw material handling, feeding, calcination, grinding, classification, and packing Lead production shifts and manage operators and technicians on the shop floor Monitor production parameters, process stability, and product quality during shift operations Coordinate with QA/QC teams and understand basic quality control requirements Handle process upsets, troubleshoot operational issues, and take immediate corrective actions Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit systems, and safe operation of high-temperature equipment Prepare shift reports, track production KPIs, downtime, and daily handover reports Coordinate effectively with maintenance, quality, and utilities teams Required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field Minimum 5+ years of experience in powder-based manufacturing or heavy process industries (gypsum preferred) Language Kurdish & English (spoken and written) Arabic is an advantage Technical Skills Willingness to work in shifts and under plant operating conditions Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting tools Important Note: Candidates must specify the job title in their application.
