Seeking logistics supervisor with 1-3 years experience in Baghdad, responsible for managing operations, client inventories, and team coordination.

Tamata is looking to hire an employee for the following position: - Logistics supervisor Location: Baghdad The candidate is required to manage operations effectively and efficiently and to consistently ensure that clients are satisfied. Upon request, the candidate will perform all other tasks related to this position. Job Duties and Responsibilities · Shall be responsible for clients' inventory according to the company's standards and operating procedures. · Assign delivery to couriers according to schedules and route plans. · Ensure that the process and employees are working smoothly and efficiently. · Achieve KPI & SLA of delivery & pickup commitment. · Supervise staff to ensure that safety best practices are being followed while handling shipments. · Ensure all SOPs are implemented by subordinates. · Evaluate all aspects of employee performance and provide coaching or discipline as needed. · Provide operations staff with guidance and support to cope with volume growth. · Reassign responsibilities based on the change in volumes or geography. Required Qualifications · 1-3 years of experience in a similar environment · Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or business administration · Supply chain certificates are a plus · Previous experience with courier/express/parcel delivery company Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities · Demonstrated leadership abilities · Excellent command of using MS Office and technology tools. · Strong knowledge of the courier operations process · The candidate should have really good communication skills, as he/she will be expected to communicate with customers, clients, internal management, etc. · Comfortable with direct people management · Self-motivated and able to work effectively on their own. · Time Management & Problem Solving · Process Improvement · Detail-oriented and focused · The ability to prioritize under pressure in a range of situations. · Ability to handle conflict effectively How to Apply: To be considered for this position, please send your resume to [email protected] or send us a direct message to our LinkedIn account no later than May 30th, 2023
