Seeking a Senior Material Controller responsible for overseeing material activities, managing records, coordinating storage, issuance, and inventory, ensuring safety and quality standards, and collaborating with procurement and engineering teams.
We are Looking for Senior Material Controller Iraqi Only Job Summary: The Senior Material Controller is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and controlling all material-related activities, including receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory management. The role ensures the accuracy of material records, maintains optimal stock levels, and supports project and operational requirements by providing the right materials at the right time while adhering to company standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Supervise material receiving processes and verify compliance with purchase orders, delivery notes, and technical specifications. Manage material storage and ensure proper handling to prevent damage and maintain quality. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records within the ERP or material management system. Coordinate the issuance and distribution of materials to departments and project sites as per approved requests. Identify and report non-conforming materials and coordinate with Quality Control for inspection and return procedures. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in all material-handling activities. Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests to prevent shortages or overstocking. Collaborate closely with Procurement, Logistics, and Engineering teams to plan and forecast material requirements. Supervise and guide junior material controllers and warehouse staff. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance material control efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in material control, warehouse management, or inventory coordination, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of ERP / SAP systems or similar material management platforms. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
