This is not an entry-level opportunity. We need a seasoned professional who can lead, approve, and defend critical engineering decisions from FEED through construction and commissioning — someone who has done it before, in real field conditions, and delivered results. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📋 Who We Are Looking For 🎓 Education: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MSc preferred) ⏳ Experience: • Minimum 10 years in civil engineering within the upstream oil & gas industry • Proven experience in onshore surface facilities projects • Prior working experience in Iraq or similar demanding Middle East environments is highly desirable 💻 Technical Skills: • Proficiency in: AutoCAD, STAAD PRO, SAP 2000, ETABS, MAT 3D, FOUNDATION 3D (or equivalent) • Strong command of FEED and detailed design execution • Proven ability in civil construction supervision • Deep knowledge of international engineering standards and industry best practices • Expert in structural analysis, foundation design, and soil treatment 🧠 Soft Skills: • Strong analytical judgment — able to identify design flaws and risks early • Decisive problem-solver under complex field conditions • Excellent communication and stakeholder management in multicultural teams ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📩 How to Apply 👉 Send your CV to: [[email protected]] 📌 Subject line: "Senior Civil Engineer – Basra" Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
