Position: Strategic Marketing Director Location: Baghdad, Iraq Company: Alattar group Experience: 10+ Years Key Responsibilities Develop and lead the company's overall strategic marketing vision and execution across all business units. Design and implement integrated marketing plans to drive brand awareness, market expansion, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Lead marketing activities for industrial, manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce sectors where applicable. Plan, organize, and oversee participation in local and international exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and corporate events. Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights studies to identify growth opportunities and market trends. Develop and manage advertising campaigns across digital channels, social media, television, radio, outdoor advertising (billboards), LED screens, transit media, and other marketing platforms. Oversee branding, public relations, media planning, content strategy, and corporate communications. Monitor marketing performance, KPIs, campaign effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI). Manage marketing budgets and optimize spending across all channels. Build, lead, and mentor high-performing internal marketing teams and external agencies. Collaborate closely with executive management, sales, commercial, product development, and creative teams to achieve business objectives. Establish strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility and market positioning. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Marketing Director, Strategic Marketing Director, or Head of Marketing. Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience. Strong background in industrial manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, or related sectors. Demonstrated experience in organizing exhibitions, trade fairs, product launches, and large-scale corporate events. Expertise in market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and strategic planning. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, performance marketing, CRM, branding, media buying, and outdoor advertising. Excellent analytical, commercial, and business development skills. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and drive measurable business results.
